Katie Dridan is an emerging mixed-media artist. The beauty of nature inspires her. Her work primarily focuses on the details and patterns in the flora and fauna of the Australian environment, with a particular love for insect life.
Katie is currently working as Silvio Apponyi's studio assistant, and in this role, she found her love for polishing stone. While most of her artworks are about detail, her stone work is inspired by simplicity: highlighting the natural beauty of found rock, turning them into functional pieces of sculpture.
