I have enjoyed drawing, design, painting and sculpture as a hobby my whole life but I discovered my love for stone sculpting in 2017 being invited by Silvio Apponyi to have a go. I have made a commitment since 2022 to allocate more time to creating and enjoying art. A more disciplined approach has enabled me to learn faster and take steps towards achieving my goal to be a professional artist. I have been incredibly fortunate to be invited by Silvio Apponyi to spend time learning from him and fellow members of the SA Stone Sculptors Association.

I am interested in versatility of stone and creating abstract forms that emphasise the unique qualities of the medium. I enjoy using a range of techniques and finishes to showcase the natural beauty of the stone and a long history of using power tools for construction has given me a sound foundation of technical skills to build on.
